Barrel Tastings are your chance to taste a wide variety of brand new wines before you buy, and your opportunity to purchase at extremely good prices. Some are barrel or tank samples – new wines that have yet to be bottled. With these, you’ll be amongst the first ever to try the wine. Others are newly bottled or are still undergoing a period of maturation in the bottle.Meet the people behind the wine
We’ll often have 12 to 16 wineries at a Barrel Tasting, so you’ll get to meet and talk with some of Australia’s leading vignerons and winemakers. At recent Barrel Tastings we had Domain Chandon, Peter Lehmann, Neil Doddridge of Dorrien Estate, Stefano de Pieri and others.
