Eden Valley Elegance Hailing from South Australia’s magnificent Eden Valley, Avon Brae was one of the original properties established in the mid 1840s. At the time Eden Valley was considered wild and remote, but today the same rugged and beautiful area is regarded as Australia’s pre-eminent high-altitude grape-growing region, providing fruit for the likes of Mountadam and Henschke, among others.

The Avon Brae Shiraz is an Eden Valley icon, a highly awarded wine that year after year captures the unique character of Eden Valley Shiraz. Indeed, the 2007 vintage scooped a number of awards, including the Consumer Shiraz Award at the 2009 Hyatt Advertiser South Australian Wine of the Year Awards, out of the 280-strong Shiraz class. It’s also won 2 Gold medals (at the 2009 Barossa and Hobart wine shows) and 3 Silver medals (2009 Rutherglen wine show, London International Wine and Spirits Competition and the notoriously tough National Wine Show of Australia), cementing its status as a truly collectable red wine.
